Vibration Isolation Installations by Instrument

An index of DAEIL SYSTEMS installation reports grouped by instrument. Of 1,239 reports, 445 carry instrument tags and are classified here; the 159 most recent in each group are listed below. Every entry links to the full report, which includes the before-and-after vibration measurements taken on site.

1.FIB-SEM (focused ion beam)

Dual-beam systems combine imaging and milling, so stage drift shows up directly in the cut. Installations here are dominated by built-in and low-profile active platforms.

30 most recent of 88 installations in this group

2.FE-SEM (field emission)

Field-emission columns resolve to the nanometre range and are the most vibration-sensitive SEM class in routine use.

30 most recent of 104 installations in this group

3.SEM (scanning electron microscope)

The largest group in our installation record. Column sensitivity typically peaks between 1 Hz and 10 Hz, which is where passive platforms are weakest.

30 most recent of 122 installations in this group

4.TEM / STEM

Transmission columns are tall and demand the strictest site criteria, frequently VC-E or better.

25 most recent of 25 installations in this group

5.AFM and probe systems

Scanning probe instruments respond to sub-nanometre motion; isolation and acoustic control usually have to be solved together.

8 most recent of 8 installations in this group

6.Semiconductor and display metrology

Fab-floor tools carry high payloads and require short settling times so that throughput is not traded away for stability.

30 most recent of 92 installations in this group

7.Optics, lasers and other instruments

Optical benches, interferometers and general metrology equipment, typically on optical tables or tabletop platforms.

6 most recent of 6 installations in this group
