Overview

An inspection was requested because DVIA-T45 performance was judged to be problematic.

A prior remote session was attempted; the RS-232 cable held by MIT was incompatible with DVIA-T, so an in-house cable was shipped and remote support was retried.

Conclusion

On the initial inspection, performance of approximately −6 dB at 5 Hz and −11 dB at 10 Hz was confirmed.

Installation equipment photos and video were requested; a bracket fixing the floor frame and the DVIA-T45 top plate was identified and removal was requested.

After the corrective action, output performance was still insufficient; the Potentiometer value was increased to raise the float height.

Normal operation was then achieved (5 Hz: −20 dB to −25 dB, 10 Hz: −20 dB to −25 dB satisfied) and tuning was completed.
